Her multimedia paintings explore feminine beauty and nature, natural appearances perverting into artifice, and how narcissism leads to a hyper-awareness of mortality. Kyle creates a visual discourse about issues of beauty and spectacle – the Imaginary and the Real – through adorning and covering up the faces of her iconic yet vulnerable female nudes.
